Offered here is this Lovely Vintage Marchessa Angora Sweater. The sweater is in good condition, for a sweater that dates most likely to the 1950s. It has a nylon lining throughout the sweater, with the exception of within the sleeves. The sweater and lining are both in good condition with no holes or tears, however, there are a couple of missing buttons, and some of the little stitched on beadwork is missing as well. The sweater is 5% Angora 10% nylon and 85% lambswool. It is a small vintage size. It measures 15" across the shoulders, 21" from the back of the neck to the hem, and about 16.5" across the chest. It does have a couple of very small moth holes, as well as a few very light stains. If it were to be cleaned I would take it to a dry cleaner. It is a fabulous vintage sweater and a must-have for any mid-century clothing collection.
