This router is brand new and ready to work out of the box. The only thing needed is to set your carrier specific APN (For AT&T or T-Mobile) when you insert your sim card for the first time. With a strong cell phone signal this router can easily achieve speeds of over 40mbps on either carrier. It is both a modem and router combined into one device. It functions on its own, but can also be used with wifi range extenders or a separate router if desired. The device has both 2.4G and 5G wifi for both maximum range and maximum speed. It is also compatible with external and yagi antenna systems. This router is for data and hotspot plans. It will not function at full performance with plans designed for use on cell phones. This listing is for a device only and does not include a data plan or sim card. We have sim cards and data plans available as well.
