Description
This collection is the culmination of several decades of leather work and inspired by a private commission. The belting and hangers are sturdy 10-11 oz drum dyed latigo made in the same premium manner that we've made for
thousands
of SCA and Ren-Faire participants over the years. It is "struck through," which means that the color is extremely colorfast and will not transfer onto attire. The pouch is a high quality import that has been upgraded in house. All of these things have been built for long life and with serious quality; they will exceed your expectations. The only variation currently listed for sale is the Engraved Steel Black Latigo grouping but we will be happy to accommodate special requests and grow our offerings.

Ring:
Decorative Engraved stainless steel ring
Color:
Offered in your choice of Black or Dark Brown Latigo Leather.  Long Wear, Excellent Body.
Celtic Weave Pattern:
The belt features a beautiful debossed Celtic knot-work pattern hand rolled onto the belt.  If you'd prefer to have a belt made with no pattern just let us know and we'll keep it simple.
Length:
This belt is a typically 72," but we make each belt just for you and generally have longer straps on hand. Just ask, and we'll make it happen.
Shorter is very easy too, but please be careful and don't make it too small. The formula is

WAIST + 12 inches + about how long you'll want the tail. If we don't hear from you we'll assume that 72+/-" is good as that fits most folks pretty well.
Finished End:
English V cut capped with a high quality nickle plated solid brass tip.
Width:

Top Loop Sizing for belt:

Hardware:
An engraved stainless steel D ring on the rear and a plain stainless steel D ring on the front. When worn holding a skirt the rear ring is exposed.
Width:
We use 1" wide sealed Top Grain leather. While we think that this is the best size, if you'd like something different, please ask and we can see what will work for you.

Top Loop Sizing for belt:
We make these to hang on a 1 1/2" belt; however, we'll cheerfully accommodate requests for wider belts for no extra charge.  Just let us know what you'd like and we'll craft something to make you happy.
Bore and Handedness:
We've designed this set for sword and dagger. For us that means that the left hand side is larger to accommodate a larger weapon and the right hand side is smaller to hang a secondary weapon. This might be a sword and dagger for a right handed fighter. We can easily make something different as dictated by your request.
Hardware:
(Ring Frog) An engraved stainless steel matches the Belt Ring. A great spot to drop a small hatchet/tomahawk or to hang a small accessory.
Width:
We use 1" &  1.5" wide sealed Top Grain leather. While we think that this is the best size, if you'd like something different, please ask and we can see what will work for you.
Mug straps

The loop and lock mug strap is our original in house creation. A mug or tankard is held by the bottom strap which is secured by a loop of leather lacing wrapped around the button. It can then be further secured by sliding the top button downward to secure the loop in place.
Top Loop Sizing for belt:
Just as with the skirt hikes,we make these to hang on a 1 1/2" belt.
Button and Slider:
The leather buttons are made from a thick full bodied leather well suited to this task. They are decorated with a Celtic Knotwork pattern.
Width:
We use 1" wide sealed latigo leather. While we think that this is the best size, if you'd like something different, please ask and we can see what will work  for you.
Pouch
- Detail - All sets
The Knot Pouch dates from the High Middle Age of from circa 1000 -1200 A.D. but similar styles of this pouch can be found both earlier and later. It has substantial carrying capacity being able to carry a wallet, key, cell phone, and checkbook all conveniently on your belt. It also has a secure overlapping fold-over cover secured by a button and loop arrangement that keep things safe and secure inside. It is hand stitched with leather lace. The leather stain is on the exterior only and is not applied to the edge or inside. It is an veg tan leather so the finish is similar to the other pieces in the collection but not identical.
Top Loop Sizing for belt:
Can accommodate up to a 3" belt.
Hardware:
A  Celtic Pattern button upgrades from standard leather knot closure.
Decorations/Debossing:
This pouch includes 3 Celtic Triskelles debossed into the surface.
Measurement:
6 inches high x 8.5 inches wide and about 2 inches deep (but it can handle wider items easily)

These fine creations are handmade entirely with hand tools in our smoke free workshop in Saint Albans, Vermont.

Handling time:
We generally ship in just a few days but we also attend a large event called The Pennsic War takes us away from the workshop for several weeks every July/August.  We continue to accept orders while we are gone and will send things out within a few days of returning home.  Watch for the away message and note the handling time.  Please let us know if you are in urgent need by a specific date and we'll do our very best to accommodate your schedule.
