Please Read this before ordering.
This auction is for one tempered clear glass lens to replace a broken tach or speedo lens on the /6 or /7 BMW airhead.  As you probably know, a busted glass lens on the /6 & /7 gauges can pretty much ruin an either obsolete or pricey housing.
To repair,  carefully cut the aluminum crimp bezel, remove it and the broken glass.  Clean up the surfaces.  I did not use the little flat black seal between the glass and the housing-- you may wish to try keeping it in place.  Using a clear silicone adhesive, or something similar (I like Seal-All) place a small bead on the upper edge of the housing, use it very very sparingly as you don't want it to squish out and be visible when done.  I used my finger for better control in applying and smoothing.  If it looks messy,  clean it up and do it again.  Take your time.   Then I applied another bead on the outer edge where the lens meets the housing.  While still tacky, I added a new rubber visor, which I highly recommend using in conjunction with the new glass.  The new rubber is much more supple and better sealing than the 40 year old originals-- and the dried originals tend to be loose from the now absent bezel.  Yes, I do sell new visors.
I repaired the speedo in the photos in about 30 minutes, with the gauge still in the housing.  Although, now might be a good time to grease the drive gears in the very back of those gauges if you want them to last.
Results vary.  It worked well for me, I hope it does for you.  You are only buying a single 84mm tempered clear glass lens.
