83-86 V65 Magna VF1100C polished aluminum water pump cover kit

Description

Get rid of that cheap looking plastic sprocket cover on your V65 Magna and replace it with a nice polished aluminum water pump cover kit from a 85-88 VF700C.
I have machined the cover to clear the V65 shifter linkage, then cut and welded the rear copper coated V65 mounts (retaining the oil seal at the sprocket bolts) to the VF 700 brackets allowing  it to fit the wider V65 bolt pattern. The front mount has been moved forward and extended out 7mm then both mounts welded in a jig so that the cover is square and in proper positioning on the side of the engine.
I have included a few pictures of the machining process and combination of the two brackets.
The cover has been professionally polished to a high luster hard to distinguish from chrome plating without worrying about it peeling in the future.
This ( bolt-on) kit comes with all original mounting hardware, remove your old bracket and bolt these brackets on with the stock engine bolts, then bolt the cover to the mounts with the included Honda shoulder bolts.
The first picture and the  pics of the plastic cover on one Magna and the chrome cover on another  are to show the contrast in appearance.
